To us it is unacceptable that people in need have to wait for hours for an ambulance or to be seen by professionals. For sure in times of crisis. We are very proud of our NHS. Providing quality health care to anyone who needs it. But the Covid-19 pandemic has shown us that the healthcare system is not bulletproof. The 2008 economic crash has lead to less money being spent on healthcare. Therefore lessening the capacity of the NHS. Volt wants to make sure that the NHS has the capability to serve the nation, we want to modernise health care and fund new cutting edge research to make Britain a leader in the health sector.
